Rabbi David Kay was ordained by the Jewish Theological Seminary of America and has served the Orlando area since 2004. He is the chair of the Interfaith Council of Central Florida. A native of Chicago, Rabbi Kay earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Ecology, Ethology, and Evolution from the University of Illinois.
For today's episode we wanted to offer a listening session to the Florida United Methodist Church (and others) so that we can be better equipped when we are discussing this very complicated situation.

In today's episode, we are excited to interview Mason Mennenga, a theologian, podcaster, YouTuber, and the self-proclaimed "Internet's Youth Pastor."
Mason's unique approach to ministry involves critiquing Evangelical discourse with satire through his social media presence. He also hosts two podcasts: "A People’s Theology" and "The BlackSheep Podcast: Presented by HM Magazine."
He earned his Masters of Divinity from Christian Theological Seminary in 2020 and went on to complete a Master of Arts in Theology at United Theological Seminary of the Twin Cities in 2022.
During our conversation, we explore Mason's background, his journey into ministry, his time as a football player, the current state of the church, strategies for reaching Gen Z, and he shares theological insights on Wesley's means of grace.
For me, as the host, Mason represents the present and future of progressive ministry.

- Rev. Christie Allen Holden: Ordained Elder in the Florida conference, Spiritual Wellness Coach and Professor of Contemplative Practices at Florida Gulf Coast University.
- Rev. Estelli Ramos: Local Pastor of a Bi-Lingual church in the Orlando area and has been a professor of Social Work at University of Central Florida for the past 20 years. Rev Ramos specialized in spiritual trauma and he will be speaking about trauma specific to pastors in the LGBTQ+ community.
- Kathleen Joseph: Licensed Mental Health Counselor specializing in treating trauma, especially racial trauma.
- Alice Williams, Co-Chair of the Beloved Community and the Co-Lay Leader of the Florida Annual Conference.
